Our Story

Game Collectors began their journey back in the 90’s with (drumroll please…) Pokémon cards!

What was their inspiration for collectables? Simple! Their mum’s amazing spoon collection (Yes, spoons!). Each spoon was the perfect memento from her travels all across Australia, with each souvenir shop serving as an adventure in the search for a worthy keepsake. To this day, you can pick a spoon from the collection and their mum can tell you every memory attached.

Game Collectors are still collecting Pokémon cards themselves. The nostalgia of trying to pull their favourite cards from the packs to complete their sets takes them back to the whimsy of childhood. Whilst today their tastes may differ when it comes to collections, why they collect the cards, and what they do, this has helped them to broaden their horizons and to diversify their collections.

The steadfast belief of the joy that comes from collectables cannot be graded on any level, and is unique to every individual, be it for the thrill of the hunt for that super rare pull (could it be the Original Charizard?!), or reminiscing in the nostalgia of the good times. Whatever your reason for collecting, we’re here to help you on your journey!
